Analytical Services, Inc. Passes Audit with Zero Non-Conformities

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – March 4, 2009 –Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced recertification according to the International Standardization Organization (ISO) 9001:2000 standard. National Quality Assurance (NQA) auditor, Jim Robinson, found ASI had zero deficiencies and reported on the company’s strengths, pointing to continued Quality Management System (QMS) awareness, solid management review processes and a well-documented Preventive and Corrective Action Request (PCAR) process.

This recertification, in addition to a finding of zero deficiencies, reinforces ASI’s commitment to their “And Then Some” philosophy of continually exceeding customer’s expectations. Audit results reflect the company follows established procedures to ensure top performance while continually reviewing and improving business operations. By ensuring the quality processes are efficient, cost efficiencies are increased which can result in lower costs to the company’s government customers.

In addition to the recent ISO recertification, ASI has received external recognition for their QMS such as receiving the Alabama Quality Award, a successful Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) appraisal and was awarded the Alabama Quality Award Level 1 Commitment to Excellence. Aiming to guarantee effectiveness, ASI plans to update their Quality Management System in order to meet the requirements for the newest ISO standard 9001:2008 and become certified in October.
