Analytical Services, Inc. Hires Acclaimed Propulsion Expert
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – October 20, 2006 – Analytical Services, Inc. today announced that Dr. Joseph D. Sims has been named manager of the company’s newly acquired Stone Engineering division. Sims, who previously served as a senior propulsion engineer for CAS, Incorporated, has over 12 years experience in the rocket propulsion industry. With his experience encompassing the mainstream rocket types(liquid, hybrid, and solid rocket technology), Sims has worked with numerous air and missile defense programs, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center’s Space Transportation Directorate, academia, and leading Fortune 500 aerospace and defense contractors.
As manager of ASI’s Stone Engineering division, Sims will lead ASI growth efforts in the high-end aerospace propulsion and structural engineering markets. Sims will report to ASI’s president and managing director, MG John W. Holly (USA Ret.) who views Sims as a “uniquely qualified individual, who will do a great job leading the Stone Engineering division of ASI into the future.”
