Analytical Services Inc. Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Added Location Supports Company's Plans for Expansion in Washington DC Area

HUNTSVILLE, AL – May 4, 2005 – Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced the appointment of Michael Ken Barnett as chief financial officer (CFO). As CFO, Barnett will oversee and direct the management of ASI’s financial operations including internal and external financial reporting, cash management, audit and proposal support.

Barnett brings twenty years of experience in finance, accounting and operations in the high technology industry, with the last twelve at government contracting companies that included SAIC, Quality Research and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).

ASI President and CEO Irma Tuder stated, “Ken’s blend of experience will contribute broadly and significantly to ASI’s finance, operations and business strategies. His experience with numerous government programs is also an added benefit. As we continue to expand our presence within the government contracting industry, Ken will play an integral role.”

Barnett succeeds Terry Marcinko, who recently accepted a position in Washington DC with a defense aerospace firm.
