SBA Assistant Administrator to Speak at Huntsville Government & Industry “Town Hall” Meeting on Business Size Rules

HUNTSVILLE, AL – March 7, 2005 – Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced a government and industry “Town Hall” meeting scheduled for 9:00 am, Thursday in response to possible changes to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) business size standards. Scheduled to speak is SBA Assistant Administrator Gary Jackson.

The SBA is seeking public responses on size changes, after first proposing and then withdrawing size changes a year ago. Business size classes help determine contract eligibility and related concerns.

Scheduled from 9:00 until 11:00 am at 655 Discovery Drive, Building 3, participants are expected to include representatives from Marshall Space Flight Center, the U.S. Army Space and Missile Command, the Northeast Alabama region of the Small Business Development Center, BizTech, and a variety of other companies and organizations.
