Analytical Services, Inc. Hires Senior Computer Scientist
HUNTSVILLE, AL – February 9, 2005 – Gaylon Stockman has recently been hired as a senior computer scientist for Analytical Services Inc. (ASI). Gaylon has two decades’ experience providing direct support to the Army in the areas of modeling, simulation, and analysis. Most recently he has supported the development and testing of distributed simulations that are related to both existing and emerging Army systems.
His initial responsibilities at ASI include the integration of an Army-developed PAC-3 simulation with an Army-developed distributed simulation framework known as the Army architecture analysis program (A3P). The A3P will ultimately enable the Army to assess and investigate issues associated with air and missile defense “system of systems.” He is also supporting the development of an in-house, physics-based, 6 Degree-Of-Freedom (6-DOF) flight simulation. Additional responsibilities include senior technical leadership for the domain of physics-based distributed simulations.
Prior to joining ASI, Gaylon served as senior computer scientist / project leader for modeling and simulation at SAIC Applied Technology Group and Quality Research modeling, simulation, and training group in Huntsville supporting the Army’s Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC).
