U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Awards Analytical Services, Inc. Scientific and Technical Assistance Contract

Project to Provide Research and Development Services to Geotechnical Structures

HUNTSVILLE, AL – December 15, 2004 – Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced the award of an U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) Scientific and Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) contract. The project will provide engineering and analysis, scientific modeling, laboratory work,
field work, and management and technical transfer to the GSL.

The majority of services will be performed at the Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Waterways Experiment Station (ERDC/WES) in Vicksburg, Mississippi. As part of the effort, ASI’s team will provide research and development services to several GSL branches, including Air Fields and Pavement, Concrete and Materials, Impact and Explosion Effects, Mobility Systems, and other elements of the Engineering Systems and Materials Division of GSL.
