Training Task Helps Prepare Army Leaders for Management Positions
HUNTSVILLE, AL – October 12, 2004 – Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI) today announced the award of an Ordnance Munitions and Electronics Maintenance School (OMEMS) training task. The project will provide training support for the Noncommissioned Officer Education System (NCOES), an integrated training program providing innovative job related training for Noncommissioned Officers (NCO) and specialists.
The instruction is intended to prepare U.S. Army ordnance junior and senior leaders for positions as logistics managers. With the majority of services performed at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, ASI’s team will provide instruction for U.S. Army enlisted personnel on basic and advanced levels of maintenance support and supply operations. Instruction includes operating systems such as Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS), Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS), and Unit Level Logistics Systems (ULLS). Maintenance management with emphasis on direct support operations is the focal point of instruction. Students are trained on the integration between each operating system, the function, and the reports generated by each system. ASI President and CEO Irma L. Tuder stated, “OMEMS NCOES is a highly valued customer committed to ensuring quality training for the U.S. Army. ASI is looking forward to helping OMEMS by providing highly trained instructors to support NCOES. ”
